How to create merge arrows with out performing the actual merge ?

Example :
cleartool merge -to foo.c -ndata foo.c@@/main/LATEST

This will create merge arrow from foo.c@@/main/LATEST to the version in current view

Now, how to merge changes without creating clearcase merge arrow ?
Example :
cleartool merge -to foo.c -narrows foo.c@@/main/LATEST
